Katie Rowley Jones, who originated the role of Nessarose in the London production of Wicked, will return to the show and the role when the cast is refreshed on 29 October.
Ben Freeman, Louise Plowright, Sam Lupton, Hayley Gallivan and Lucy van Gasse also join the cast this autumn.
Rowley Jones is the second performer to be making her return to the wonderful world of Oz in October, joining Louise Dearman who will become the first actress to play both lead roles in the magical show when she steps onto the stage as green witch Elphaba, having previously proved a popular Glinda the Good.
In addition to her turn in Wicked back in 2006, Rowley Jones created the role of Sister Mary Roberts for the London production of Sister Act and played Belle in the national tour of Beauty And The Beast.
Freeman, who replaces former Busted star Matt Willis as Fiyero, is best known for playing Scott Windsor in Emmerdale, but has more recently appeared in both Legally Blonde The Musical and Dreamboats And Petticoats in the West End. Plowright, who plays Madame Morrible, created the role of Tanya in Mamma Mia! and went on to play the lead role of Donna for four years.
Gallivan, who will be standby Elphaba, has appeared in London productions of Spring Awakening, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Grease, Ragtime and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, while van Gasse (Standby Glinda) and Lupton (Boq) make their West End debuts in the production.
Gina Beck, Keith Bartlett and Christopher Howell continue in the roles as Glinda, The Wizard and Doctor Dillamond.
Wicked tells the untold story of the witches of Oz, how a talented sorceress with unusually coloured skin and a preppy, blonde witch meet at college and the unexpected twists their lives take.
Since opening at the Apollo Victoria in 2006, the show has been seen by more than 4.5 million people.
