La Soirée has announced it will return this Christmas to the Roundhouse theatre in all its wacky glory for a limited festive season. The variety show’s current run at the South Bank Big Top finishes later this month.
Playing from 23 November to 29 January, La Soirée’s as yet unannounced line-up promises more glitter, more glamour and bucket loads of yuletide cheer.
Mixing cabaret, circus, comedy and unbelievable acrobatic feats, La Soirée has featured a wide range of eccentric performers including opera-singing diva Le Gateau Chocolat, contortionist Captain Frodo, cheeky clown and hula-hoop artist Marawa and Meow Meow, the upcoming star of Kneehigh’s The Umbrellas Of Cherbourg.
La Soirée has played at the South Bank Big Top since October 2010 when stars from the Laurence Olivier Award-winning show La Clique reunited to form the brand new cabaret extravaganza which introduced a whole host of stars with unusually bizarre talents to London audiences.
