Peter Egan and Alex Waldmann are to star in the Park Theatre’s production of Robert Holman’s Jonah And Otto later this autumn.
The tale of two men sharing solitude and secrets will run at the north London theatre from 28 October to 23 November.
In the existential tale the two men take a day to question and argue with each other about women, guilt, magic, redemption and freedom.
Ever Decreasing Circles star Egan, who plays Otto, returns to the London stage having appeared in the Old Vic production of Other Desert Cities earlier this year. RSC regular Waldmann, who plays Jonah, appeared in the Shakespeare’s Globe productions of The Knight Of The Burning Pestle and The Duchess Of Malfi when they opened the venue’s new Sam Wanamaker Playhouse this spring.
Directed by Tim Stark, Jonah And Otto runs in the Park’s largest space, the Park 200, following the run of the current revival of David Hare’s The Vertical Hour.
