Paris’ theatres have joined forces to collectively declare “My place is in the performance halls” by changing the names of their shows to Ma Place Est Dans La Salle in a show of inspirational solidarity.
The incredible one-day movement will see actors, technicians, venue managers, producers, ticket venders and everyone involved in all sectors of the performing arts in France’s capital city band together to spread the message of the power of the arts and freedom of expression.
This display of solidarity encourages the public to show their love for live entertainment by seeing a show and spreading their support by sharing photos and thoughts on social media using the hashtag #MaPlaceEstDansLaSalle
Arts lovers can also follow the hashtag today to engage with tweets, videos and social media posts from celebrities, comedians, singers and performers who will also be showing their support by getting involved and offering backstage and behind-the-scenes insights.
