Our trip to the opening night of Constellations

Nick Payne‘s beautiful and heartbreaking romance Constellations opened at the Vaudeville Theatre on Friday and Megan and Jess from the Official London Theatre team went to check it out! They described the show as “a beautiful, unique and moving love story.”

The energy from the curtain call and the incredibly passionate speech from Director Michael Longhurst just says it all. Check it out.

The love story is all about a quantum physicist and a beekeeper who meet at a barbeque. They hit it off, or perhaps they don’t. They go home together, or maybe they go their separate ways. In the multiverse, with every possible future ahead of them, a love of honey could make all the difference.

The Donmar Warehouse revival comes with a twist as it includes four different casts starring Sheila Atim and Ivanno Jeremiah (18 June – 1 August), Peter Capaldi and Zoë Wanamaker (23 June – 24 July), Omari Douglas and Russell Tovey (30 July – 11 September), and Anna Maxwell Martin and Chris O’Dowd (6 August – 12 September).

Each cast will take their turn to journey through the multiverse exploring the infinite possibilities of a relationship; each refracting the play afresh.

Follow Megan and Jess’ trip to the opening night including some amazing views from their box and their overall thoughts about the play.
