Cabaret star Meow Meow will return to London later this year for a limited three-week season of her Edinburgh International Festival Fringe Prize-winning show Feline Intimate at the London Wonderground.
Playing from 20 May to 8 June, the international singing sensation will bring her unique brand of kamikaze cabaret to the South Bank in a show that promises everything from Brecht to Radiohead, with plenty of sequins and satire to boot.
The singer and dancer, who has enjoyed previous success in Olivier Award-winning hit La Clique, boasts credits in the capital including The Umbrellas Of Cherbourg at the Gielgud Theatre, Lance Horne: First Things Last at the Garrick Theatre and a series of concerts at the Apollo Theatre. The performer, whose true identity is a closely guarded secret, also wowed audiences with Meow Meow Beyond Glamour: The Absinthe Tour at the Soho Theatre in 2010.
Meow Meow’s forthcoming appearance adds to the eclectic season of shows playing at the London Wonderground this year, with circus sensation Limbo also returning for another year.
