The producers of Waitress announced today an extension until next summer, but then the smell of fresh baking pies will leave the Adelphi Theatre and head around the UK! The final performance at the Adelphi will take place on 4 July 2020 and Waitress will head off on a tour of the UK before returning to the West End.

The Royal Court today announced that Rebekah Murrell, Tanya Reynolds and Letty Thomas have been cast in the world premier of Scenes With Girls.
Written by Miriam Battye and directed by Lucy Morrison, the play will be performed in the Royal Court Jerwood Theatre Upstairs from Wednesday 15 January 2020 to Saturday 22 February 2020, and does exactly what it says on the tin;
Tosh and Lou. 22 scenes.

Shackelton And His Stowaway will be opening the Park90 2020 season at Park Theatre from 8 January to 1 February 2020. Following two sell-out runs at Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2018 and at London’s Cervantes Theatre, the special run will commemorate the 200th anniversary of the discovery of the Antarctic.
Based on real events, the thrilling two-hander offers an intimate portrayal of two men who braved the harsh elements and inhabitable environment of Antarctica – and found themselves fighting for their own survival.

The Barricade Boys are back by popular demand this Christmas and today announced the first confirmed line-up of special guest stars.
With fabulous harmonies, incredible vocals, dashing good looks and stacks of charm, The Barricade Boys, showcase the UK’s finest male voices from the world’s longest running musical – Les Misérables.
Joining them from 10-28 December at The Other Palace will be Samantha Barks (17 December), Camilla Kerslake (16 December), Alice Fearn (23 December), Nadim Naaman (27 December) and Kieran Brown (28 December matinee). And that’s not even the end of it! They’ll be announcing even more stars soon.
