Our popular family promotion, Kids Week, has announced it will extend to 7 September to mark the end of the school holidays.
The Kids Week deal enables a child aged 16 or under to go free to a London show when accompanied by a full paying adult, and a further two children can go for half price. With more than 55,000 tickets available to more than 30 shows, there is something to suit every taste and budget, from entertainment for Under 5s to shows suitable for teens.
Emma De Souza, founder of Kids Week, said: “We are delighted to announce that Kids Week 2016 will be extending for one week. Thanks to the support of producers, even more families will be able to experience the finest theatre London has to offer this summer”
Kenny Wax, producer of The Gruffalo, The Play That Goes Wrong, The Comedy About A Bank Robbery and The Tiger Who Came To Tea, all of which are participating in Kids Week, said: “The ‘kids go free’ initiative is a wonderful way to encourage parents to bring their children into the West End during the month of August. In fact, it’s the popularity of Kids Week that encourages us to bring new family shows into the West End each year during the summer months.”
Kids Week is not just about the shows. Children can also take part in free activities organised by the shows as part of a Show & Activity Package, including dancing with Scooby-Doo, designing shoes with Kinky Boots and learning the Locomotion with Beautiful: The Carole King Musical.
