Hit musical Jersey Boys is preparing to say Bye Bye Baby to its current home where the production has spent the past five years to take up residence at the Piccadilly theatre in 2014.
The Olivier Award-winning production, which tells the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons and their journey to stardom, will Stay at the Prince Edward theatre until 9 March 2014 before the cast Walk Like Men through Soho to begin performances at the Piccadilly theatre later in the month.
Featuring a wealth of the 1960s American pop band’s legendary hits including Beggin’, Big Girls Don’t Cry, Can’t Take My Eyes Off You, Rag Doll, Who Loves You, Fallen Angel and Sherry, Jersey Boys has been seen by more than 17.5 million people worldwide since receiving its premiere on Broadway in 2006.
Directed by Des McAnuff, the long-running production’s West End cast currently includes Ryan Molloy, Edd Post, Jon Boydon, David McGranaghan, Nicola Brazil, Mark Halliday, Ben Jennings, Will Barratt, Ben Evans and Chris Gardner.
Jersey Boys will move into the Piccadilly theatre following the return of Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story On Stage, which takes over from Spice Girls musical Viva Forever! from 13 July.
