The production billed as “the West End’s scariest show” will continue to terrify theatregoers into 2015 with the news that Ghost Stories will continue its run at the Arts Theatre until 15 March.
Previously booking until 18 January, this latest extension adds to Ghost Stories’ already hugely successful history. First seen in London at the Lyric Hammersmith in 2010, the show has since gone on to spook, chill and scare witless more than 400,000 audience members with its subsequent runs in the West End.
Created by actor and director Andy Nyman and The League Of Gentlemen’s Jeremy Dyson, the deliberately secretive show mixes the best of theatre with a thrilling dose of adrenaline to create an 80 minute rollercoaster ride of shocks and laughs.
While little can be given away from the show in advance, the Daily Telegraph’s Charles Spencer offered readers a taste of what they had in store in his four star review of the production, saying: “If you don’t leave the theatre feeling shaken, stirred and thoroughly entertained then I can only applaud you for having nerves of steel.”
