Directed by Jamie Lloyd, Evita tells the real-life story of Eva Perón, the second wife of Argentine president Juan Perón. A political leader in her own right, Evita follows her journey from her early life and charity work, to her rise to power.

The musical features a chart-topping score including Don’t Cry For Me Argentina, Oh! What A Circus, Another Suitcase in Another Hall, and the Academy Award-winning You Must Love Me.

Evita is running from 2 – 28 August. Other productions in the Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre season includes A Midsummer Night’s Dream (28 June – 27 July) and Jesus Christ Superstar (playing a limited 60-performance season at the Barbican Theatre from 4 July).
