What a way to bow out! The first photos of Sweet Charity, the farewell production of the Donmar Warehouse‘s long-serving Artistic Director Josie Rourke, have been released – and they look simply stunning.
The musical stars Anne-Marie Duff as Charity, alongside Arthur Darvill as Oscar, and tells the story of hopeless romantic and dance hall hostess Charity Hope Valentine. But just as she starts to give up on love, she meets Oscar, who soon reignites Charity’s faith in love once again.
With a star-studded cast, the show signifies a fond farewell for Josie once the curtain comes down on this production’s final show on 8 June.
