As the Pinter At The Pinter season continues going strong, so does the roster of stars stepping onto the London stage. This week, the celebration of the extraordinary British playwright Harold Pinter continues at the theatre lovingly named after him with Pinter Three – a production of the short plays and sketches Landscape, A Kind Of Alaska, Monologue, and Apart From That.
We have a sneak peek at production images from this installment of Pinter At The Pinter starring Lee Evans, Tamsin Greig, Keith Allen, Tom Edden, and Meera Syal.
Landscape is a minimalist marvel: a woman is locked in a beautiful memory and her husband demands to be heard. Then, in A Kind of Alaska, Deborah awakes from a 29-year sleep and is suspended between the conscious and unconscious worlds.
In addition, Lee Evans, coming out of retirement, will perform the poignant Monologue and a selection of Pinter’s most hilarious comedy sketches, including the sketch Apart From That, with Meera Syal.
From 19 November, close friend and long-term Pinter collaborator Penelope Wilton will make 12 special guest appearances in Pinter Three, performing the witty monologue Tess, written for her by Pinter.
