Oscar Wilde’s The Importance Of Being Earnest is the quintessential crafty comedy. And audiences across the UK and Ireland will soon be able to enjoy Classic Spring’s riotous revival of it, as the hilarious production is broadcast live to over 440 cinemas.

The triumphant finale to Classic Spring’s Wilde season at the Vaudeville Theatre, the show will be broadcast live from the West End to venues on Tuesday 9 October 2018 by More2Screen.

Starring Sophie Thompson (Four Weddings And A Funeral), Fiona Button (The Split), Pippa Nixon (Grantchester), Stella Gonet (The House of Elliott) and Jeremy Swift (Downton Abbey), The Importance Of Being Earnest opened last week to rave reviews.

With fresh direction from Michael Fentiman, the show reimagines one of the most brilliantly written comedies in the English language with farcical flair.
