Tony and Emmy Award-winning Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth will come to the West End for one night only later this year, kicking off her first ever UK tour at the London Coliseum.
Best known for originating the role of the perky, pink and popular Glinda in Broadway musical Wicked, Chenoweth has notched up an array of award-winning performances on the other side of the Atlantic for her roles in You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown, The Apple Tree and Promises, Promises.
The Broadway star, who will play a one-off concert at the London Coliseum on 11 March before taking her tour to Manchester, Edinburgh and Cardiff, is also well-known for her on screen appearances in theatrical teen hit Glee, acclaimed political drama The West Wing and US resurrection comedy Pushing Daisies.
Billed as “an eclectic mix of musical wonderment”, the show will see Chenoweth perform material from the worlds of opera, pop and musical theatre including songs from her own albums and shows that have contributed to her successful on stage career.
