Dave Willetts will join Katherine Kingsley and Michael Arden in Trevor Nunn’s new production of Aspects Of Love at the Menier Chocolate Factory from 7 July (press night 15 July).

Willetts is no stranger to Andrew Lloyd Webber musicals. He was last seen in Craig Revel Horwood’s pared-down production of Sunset Boulevard at the Comedy theatre, for which he was nominated for Best Performance in a Supporting Role in a Musical at the 2008 Laurence Olivier Awards. He has also played the title role in Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom Of The Opera. His other London stage credits include Les Misérables, Ragtime and Seven Brides For Seven Brothers.

The cast of Aspects Of Love also includes Martyn Ellis, whose recent credits include Guys And Dolls at the Piccadilly theatre and The 39 Steps at the Criterion theatre, and Rosalie Craig, who has worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Donmar Warehouse.

Joining them are Rebecca Brewer, Jill Armour, Louisa Lydell, Ian McLarnon, David Roberts, Savannah Stevenson, Dominic Tighe and Rebecca Trehearn.

Based on David Garnett’s novel, Lloyd Webber, Don Black and Charles Hart’s Aspects Of Love tells the story of passion, love and loss across three generations of a family against the background of 1940s France and Italy.

Nunn, who directed the premiere production of Aspects Of Love in 1989, is to create a new, intimate version at the Menier Chocolate Factory, where he previously achieved success with A Little Night Music.

Aspects Of Love opens at the Menier following Paradise Found, which ends its run on 26 June.
