The theatre have dedicated wheelchair spaces that can be booked via our ticket office. Adapted toilets are also available at the venue.

Access from Street to Foyer:

The foyer for Sadler’s Wells East is at the level of Stratford Walk. There is an external lift to take audiences from the Carpenters Road level to the Stratford Walk entrance.

Access From Theatre Foyer To Seat:

The back of the auditorium is on the same level as the theatre foyer, with steps leading down into the auditorium. Wheelchair seats are available at the stage level and back of the auditorium. A lift is available to take wheelchair users to the stage level.

Level Access:

Lifts are available within the venue to take audience members to different levels.

Sadler’s Wells East includes two bar spaces: Park Kitchen & Bar and The Well. Both are situated in the ground level foyer of the venue.

History

Sadler’s Wells East is a brand new theatre for dance that opened in February 2025 as part of East Bank in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Stratford.

This fourth theatre from Sadler’s Wells is home to everything from hip hop to ballet, rave to rhumba and kathak to krumping, with a flexible auditorium.

There are lots of ways to get involved, with ticketed shows in the theatre and free events on The Dance Floor in the foyer, such as dance workshops, activities for families and community takeovers, including The Floor Is Yours: scheduled times where anyone can come and use the space.

You can also grab a coffee or a bite at our new cafe and bar – The Well and Park Kitchen & Bar.
