Frank has got the interview; it’s his big break, the one he’s been waiting for. All he has left to do is convince two rather formidable women from the corporation and he’ll be off back to Russia. But, as often happens with once in a lifetime opportunities, history seems to be working against them all.

Phyllida Lloyd, who directs Wild East, has directed for opera, theatre and television. She has previously directed at the Royal Court (Six Degrees Of Separation, Hysteria), the National, Royal Shakespeare Company and across the West End, including long running Abba hit Mamma Mia!
