Viola and Sebastian are shipwrecked, separated and washed up in Illyria. Believing her brother dead, Viola dresses as a boy to become Cesario and enter Duke Orsino’s court. The Duke uses Cesario/Viola to court Olivia, which leads to Olivia falling in love with Cesario/Viola, who has fallen in love with Orsino, who was always in love with Olivia. Sebastian’s unheralded arrival complicates matters more.
