Lauded physicality-based theatre company Frantic Assembly bring their latest show, Things I Know To Be True, to the Lyric Hammersmith for its UK premiere, exploring familial love and its internal connotations.

Penned by acclaimed Australian playwright Andrew Bovell, Frantic Assembly tell a story both beautifully touching but also funny and bold, bringing to life the complex tale of one family and marriage through the eyes of four grown up siblings, desperate to define themselves beyond their parents love and expectations.

While parents Bob and Fran have worked tirelessly to provide for their children, now ready to fly the nest, they believe it’s time to sit back, relax and smell the roses. But the changing seasons might be about to bring home some shattering truths.

Bringing their renowned physicality to the stage, this is a show both poetic and brutally frank, exploring the internal mechanics of a changing family.
