They Only Come At Night: Visions is a walk-through atmospheric experience where you will be taken from the Box Office into a fast-moving theatrical world.
Every night in every town something happens at the edges of where people want to look. A pool of blood on a door step. A murder in a car park. A stabbing at a bus stop. Many are blamed but perhaps the real truth is lurking in the shadows and about to be revealed. They are coming…
They Only Come At Night: Visions combines live performance, dance, music and digital projection.
Yorkshire based company Slung Low, which performs They Only Come At Night: Visions, returns to the Barbican following Helium in The Pit last year.
Specialising in theatre installations and site-specific work, Slung Low creates ‘traditional stories’ for total sensory experiences. Utilising the techniques available to a 21st century artist, it aims to place the audience at the centre of their tales.
They Only Come At Night: Visions is not suitable for people of a nervous disposition or those younger than 16 years old. Features strobe lighting and theatrical smoke.
They Only Come At Night: Visions is a promenade performance which begins at the Box Office on level minus 1.
