The Woods sees Robert Alan Evans return to the Royal Court with this thrilling new play, directed by Lucy Morrison.

“Why you always got to dig things up?” A cabin deep in the woods. A lost boy buried in the snow. A lone woman. And her wolf.

“You think you could keep him? You know where that ends up. Don’t you. You no good with kids.”

The cast of The Woods comprises Lesley Sharp (Scott & Bailey), Finn Bennett (Kiri) and Tom Mothersdale (Peaky Blinders).

Lucy’s previous work for the Royal Court includes Plaques & Tangles, Live Lunch, Who Cares, and Pests.

Robert Alan Evans’ previous works include A Girl In A Car With A Man at the Royal Court Theatre. Produced in 2004, the show saw actor Andrew Scott subsequently receive the 2005 Laurence Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in an Affiliate Theatre, for his portrayal of Alex.

The Woods runs Wednesday 5 September 2018 – Saturday 13 October 2018.
