The Royal Opera House’s critically acclaimed production of Kenneth Grahame’s children’s classic transfers to the West End for an eight-week festive run.

Marking the Royal Opera House’s first ever commercial West End transfer, The Wind In The Willows retells the adventures of Grahame’s well known woodland-dwelling characters – Toad, Ratty, Mole and Badger – as the serenity of their riverbank is rocked by a speeding car, galloping caravan and racing train, and criminal deeds are cooked up in the depths of the Wild Wood.

Inspired by George Butterworth’s music with a score by Martin Ward, the escapades of reckless Toad and his long-suffering friends are brought to life using dance, song, music and puppetry.

Directed and choreographed by Will Tuckett, the production, which is now in its 10th year, has been created specifically for families.
