Children and families will be walking in the air with excitement as perennial seasonal favourite The Snowman returns to the Peacock Theatre.

Featuring music and lyrics by Howard Blake, The Snowman follows the story of a young boy who, one wintery evening, is whisked away on a thrilling adventure by his snowman who comes to life. The unique friendship sees the boy take to the sky with his new chilly friend, flying all the way to the North Pole where they meet Father Christmas and narrowly escape from Jack Frost.

Birmingham Repertory Theatre’s production, which is based on Raymond Briggs’ much loved book and the film that followed, blends storytelling, dance, spectacle and magic. Over 15 years of playing at the Peacock Theatre it has established itself as a must-see Christmas treat for young and old.
