Mozart’s fabulous comic opera The Marriage Of Figaro returns to the London Coliseum with its tale of one crazy day.
World renowned actress and director Fiona Shaw directs the much-loved opera in which the Count’s valet Figaro desperately tries to wed the Count’s maid Susanna before his bed-hopping master can have his wicked way with her.
Mozart’s glorious score illuminates this tale of sexual intrigue, confused identities and surprise revelations.
David Stout and Mary Bevan lead the cast as the servants desperate to tie the knot, with Benedict Nelson as the duplicitous Count Almaviva and Sarah-Jane Brandon as his wronged Countess.
