Orange Is The New Black star Uzo Aduba makes her London stage debut alongside Laura Carmichael and Zawe Ashton in the UK premiere of Benedict Andrews and Andrew Upton’s The Maids.

Playing as part of Jamie Lloyd’s latest West End season, The Maids is an intense psychological thriller that follows the story of housemaids Solange and Claire as they dream up dangerous and sadistic scenarios to kill off their employer.

Double Emmy Award winner Aduba, who’s best known for her role as Suzanne ‘Crazy Eyes’ Warren in the critically acclaimed Netflix series Orange Is The New Black, and Fresh Meat’s Ashton play the two fantasising housemaids alongside Downton Abbey’s Carmichael as Madam.

Andrews and Upton’s contemporary version of the Jean Genet masterpiece is directed by Lloyd and features designs by his regular collaborator Soutra Gilmour.
