The Luckless Angel is a short, powerful piece, devised and performed by young German theatre maker Jennipher Antoni.
Testimony from women who lost children in the Beslan massacre is combined with confrontation of Russian President Vladimir Putin and the poetry of Heiner Muller in The Luckless Angel, which is staged at the Soho theatre as part of Acts Of Resistance, three days of agitation, propaganda, dissent, politics, argument, debate, revolt and revolution.
Also included alongside The Luckless Angel in Acts Of Resistance are a day long workshop on Making Political Theatre (26 September) and a panel discussion on 27 September.
