Tall Stories’s production of The Gruffalo returns to London’s West End following its Christmas season at the Duchess theatre last year.

This stage adaptation is based on the award-winning picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, which has sold over four million copies since its publication.

Using original music and Tall Stories’s uniquely physical style, The Gruffalo tells the story of a brave and quick-thinking little mouse who goes into the deep, dark wood and comes face to face with wheeler-deeler fox, an eccentric old owl, a maraca-shaking snake and the creature he fears the most.. the Gruffalo.

Suitable for ages 3+, The Gruffalo plays daytime performances at the Apollo theatre over the festive season.
