Rob Ashford directs Kenneth Branagh as Archie Rice in John Osborne’s modern classic, which plays as part of the Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company’s season at the Garrick Theatre.
Set against the backdrop of post-war Britain, The Entertainer conjures the seedy glamour of the old music halls for an explosive examination of public masks and private torment.
Branagh is joined in the show by a cast including Olivier Award nominee Phil Dunster and Downton Abbey’s Sophie McShera.
The Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company’s season also includes productions of The Winter’s Tale, Harlequinade / All On Her Own, Red Velvet, The Painkiller and Romeo And Juliet. Read more about it here.
