Award-winning Irish/French singer Camille O’Sullivan brings her indefinable show The Dark Angel to London for a Christmas season.
A glamorous and enigmatic performer, O’Sullivan is inspired by the work of songwriters including Nick Cave, Jacques Brel, David Bowie and Tom Waits. In The Dark Angel she presents these songs in her unique style, transforming each song into a theatrical experience and inextricably drawing her audience into a world inhabited by the bizarre and wonderful.
O’Sullivan’s work has previously been seen at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and on television programmes including Later With Jools Holland. She has performed in London at the Roundhouse, the Queen Elizabeth Hall, the Barbican and the Royal Albert Hall, and also guest appeared in cabaret show La Clique at the Hippodrome.
