Olivier Award nominated playwright Nick Payne performs his own funny and heart-breaking play about death, dying and the deceased.
The writer first performed The Art Of Dying as part of The Big Idea Death in Open Court, a six week festival of plays, ideas and events chosen by a group of more than 140 writers in Vicky Featherstone’s first summer at the Royal Court.
Payne’s other plays include Constellations and The Same Deep Water As Me, both of which were nominated for one of London theatre’s most prestigious accolades. His 2014 play Incognito opened to acclaim at the Bush Theatre earlier this year.
