TR Warszawa returns to the Barbican following 4.48 Psychosis earlier this year.

T.E.O.R.E.M.A.T is set in Italy, 1968. The members of the affluent family of an authoritarian Milanese industrialist hopelessly fall into a spiral of lust, sexual awakening and mystical turmoil as a charismatic stranger comes to stay.

Based on the writings by the later Italian poet, activist and intellectual Pier Paolo Pasolini, this the new production unravels with the dreamlike pace of an intricate mystery as it follows the inner journeys of five characters from a life of bourgeois hypocrisy and emotional emptiness to an extreme of perdition and higher awareness.
