Como el musguito en la piedra, ay si, si, si… (Santiago) is the last work Pina Bausch created, a piece inspired by Chile, its popular music, folk songs and cultural roots.

The creation of the work began when she toured northern and southern Chile with 21 dancers and was completed in a residency in Wuppertal.

It features musical accompaniment from popular Chilean composers including Victor Jara the theatre director, playwright, poet, singer-songwriter and political activist.

Premiere 12 June 2009 and performed as part of London 2012 Festival.
