BSE, foot and mouth and a raft of other food scares have raised questions about what happens to our food before we eat it and the real cost of industrialised farming. Recent battles between producers, councils and public opinion have revealed a dirty business that impacts on everyone, wherever they live. Strawberry Fields is in response to these events and is a new kind of theatre in which actors deliver the exact words of the people involved.
