Sorry! is the new show from roaming theatremakers Footsbarn.

Clowns and undertakers. Actors and tractors. Corpses and horses. Theatre and circus! Footsbarn joins forces with Pierre Byland and Cirque Werdyn, a gypsy horse circus, to create an evening of burlesque anarchy for the whole family.

In a feast of live music and hilarious clowning, Sorry! takes place in a circus big top as the undertakers hold a funeral and a family of gypsies arrive to celebrate a wedding all in the same place! Will we toast the bride or mourn the departed? The battle is on.

Footsbarn has toured every angle of the globe with its legendary tent. Its make-and-do, playful style has completely fascinated adults and children alike since 1971, when it was founded in a Cornish barn.

In the 17 years since, Sorry! creator Footsbarn has built a reputation for performing Shakespeare around the world with an irresistible combination of commedia dell’arte, circus, street theatre and carnival.

NB While staged as part of bite10, Sorry! is not performed at the Barbican, but in Footsbarn’s famous tent, which will be housed in Victoria Park.
