Acerbic young dance teacher Michael is painfully uprooted from New York to Florida, where he is hired for six weeks by sprightly yet lonely minister’s wife Lily, who herself has a gift for dancing. An unlikely pairing, as they cha-cha, tango and waltz they share secrets and hopes, and a remarkable friendship blossoms.
American film star Billy Zane (Titanic, Dead Calm, The Phantom) makes his West End debut as dance teacher Michael, though he is not new to theatre having appeared several times on Broadway. Claire Bloom, who is equally well known and respected for her work on stage and screen, plays Lily.
