Capitalising on the recent resurgence of public interest in ballroom dancing and the success of TV programmes Strictly Come Dancing and Strictly Dance Fever, this show brings ballroom dancing to the theatre, as a team of 30 international dance champions takes the audience on a whirlwind tour of ballroom styles, from the Waltz and the Quick Step to the Tango, Cha Cha and Jive. Simply Ballroom is choreographed by Erin Boag and Anton Du Beke, the dance champions who came into the public eye through their appearances on celebrity dance-off Strictly Come Dancing. For the London date, the pair will be taking to the stage themselves, to show off their dance skills for the first time in this show.
