Trevor Nunn directs Olivia Williams in a revival of Ingmar Bergman’s portrait of a failing marriage.
Adapted by Joanna Murray-Smith, Scenes From A Marriage tells the story of a couple who become warring contenders in divorce following the disintegration of their relationship.
Stage and screen actress Williams, whose theatre credits include Hotel In Amsterdam at the Donmar Warehouse and In A Forest, Dark And Deep at the Vaudeville theatre, is joined in the cast by Mark Bazeley, Shane Attwooll, Melanie Jessops and Aislinn Sands.
The production marks the acclaimed Cats and Les Misérables director’s second production of Bergman’s play following his 2008 production at the Belgrade theatre in Coventry.
