Rosas Danst Rosas is one of Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker’s most famous works.
Described by The Observer as a “now historic piece”, Rosas Danst Rosas was brought back to Sadler’s Wells in 2009 to critical acclaim and returns in 2011 as part of a retrospective.
This iconic work takes the use of repetitive music and movement initiated in Fase even further. Four female dancers, including De Keersmaeker, perform a series of five physically intense and repetitive choreographic chapters that expose the concentrated, powerful relationship between them.
Rosas Danst Rosas plays as part of Rosas – Early Works.
