The world’s favourite love story was choreographed in Nureyev’s own inventive way back in 1977. Since then, the English National Ballet have performed it around the world to much acclaim.
Moving from the heart-pounding action of sword fights between rival families to the spell-binding romance of Romeo and Juliet’s young love, the classic story is told against sumptuous sets and costumes which summon Renaissance Verona to the stage and with the full force of the English National Ballet’s orchestra performing Prokofiev’s famous score.
