Reviving Jonathan Miller’s much-loved interpretation of the story, Rigoletto follows the eponymous character with a sharp tongue and no shortage of wit.

But when his wisecracks spark a poisonous vendetta, and his daughter is seduced by the dissolute Duke, Rigoletto sets out for revenge – will he have the last laugh?

With some of opera’s most immediately recognisable music including ‘Women abandon us’, Verdi’s thrilling score is conducted by Sir Richard Armstrong.
