A tragic story of passion, revenge and sacrifice, focused on lowly jester Rigoletto, the daughter he loves and the Duke he serves. Deceived by those he mocks, Rigoletto unknowingly assists in the abduction of his own daughter, Gilda. Hatred and the desire for vengeance overwhelm him, which inevitably leads to more pain and sacrifice in this heartbreaking tale.

Rigoletto stars baritone Quinn Kelsey in the title role, while ENO regulars soprano Anna Christy and leading bel canto tenor Barry Banks sing their roles for the first time.
