Rebellion is an intriguing story of two African princes who are captured into slavery. It tells of their trials and loves as they struggle to free themselves from tyrannical bondage in Jamaica and Britain. Set in the period after the end of the British slave trade in 1807 but before abolition in 1833, the production features the work of several emerging songwriters and playwrights.
