Tamzin Outhwaite stars in Raving, Simon Paisley Day’s debut play about a couple struggling in their roles as parents.
A comic study of modern day parenting and marital misfortunes, Raving tells the story of troubled parents Briony and Keith whose friends Ross and Rosy take them on a relaxing weekend away with another couple. But, in the company of an uninvited anarchic adolescent and a fanatical farmer, the idyllic break soon erupts into total chaos.
Returning to the Hampstead theatre following her performance in Di And Viv And Rose, former EastEnder Outhwaite’s theatre credits include West End productions of Boeing Boeing and Sweet Charity.
Actor Paisley Day makes his writing debut following recent appearances in The Low Road at the Royal Court and The Taming Of The Shrew at Shakespeare’s Globe.
The production is directed by the Hampstead theatre’s Artistic Director Edward Hall.
