Following  the success of Underneath The Floorboards at the Lilian Baylis Studio last year, balletLORENT returns to Sadler’s Wells with Carol Ann Duffy’s new version of Brothers Grimm fairy tale Rapunzel.

Narrated by Leslie Sharp, Rapunzel tells the traditional tale of a girl with cascading hair who is trapped in a tall tower but with darker beauty, drawing upon the parents who were forced to give up their child, the witch who took her from them and the prince who comes to her rescue.

Rapunzel is directed and choreographed by Liv Lorent with music by Murray Gold and costumes by Michele Clapton.
