Olivier Award winners David Bedella and Janie Dee take to the stage in the London premiere of Stephen Sondheim’s musical revue Putting It Together.
Set at a cocktail party in New York, Putting It Together focuses on two couples – one middle-aged and married, the other young lovers just starting out – and explores the complexities of modern relationships through the much-loved songs of legendary American lyricist and composer Stephen Sondheim.
Bedella, who took home one of London theatre’s prestigious accolades for his role in Jerry Springer The Opera, has previously appeared in West End productions of Chicago and The Rocky Horror Show, while his co-star Dee, most recently seen in NSFW at the Royal Court, has starred in musicals including Mack & Mabel, My One & Only and Carousel.
Bedella and Dee will be joined on stage at the St James theatre by Singin’ In The Rain’s Daniel Crossley, star of Les Misérables Caroline Sheen and Merrily We Roll Along’s Damian Humbley.
