Two plays from emerging American writers which portray contemporary American society in a comic yet disturbing light. 

David Adjmi’s Elective Affinities is a monolgue delivered by Alice, a New Yorker from the Upper West Side who collects art, eats chocolate and discusses human rights, which examines the limits of tolerance in an age of global terror.

Brett Neveu’s Eric Larue is set in the Mid West following a shooting at a small town school. The play focuses on the killer’s mother and examines the pressures that lead to such an act and the challenge of living in the aftermath.
