JM Barrie’s Peter Pan is one of English literature’s most famous and most loved tales.

The story of the boy who never grew up, who takes the Darling children on an amazing trip to Neverland and introduces them to pirates, Indians, a crocodile and the Lost Boys, has been enchanting children and adults alike for over a century.

This new adaptation of Peter Pan by Tanya Ronder, who also adapted Vernon God Little for the Young Vic and Blood Wedding for the Almeida theatre, was initially staged in a specially constructed tent in Kensington Gardens, the venue that Barrie first met the Llewelyn Davies family who inspired his famous creation. Now, the show transfers to a purpose-built pavilion at the O2, where 1,350 people a night can witness the 360-degree projected scenery using CGI animation, designed by seven-times Laurence Olivier Award winner William Dudley.

The cast, led by Ciaran Kellgren as Peter and Jonathan Hyde as Captain Hook, remains with the production for the transfer.
