Handel’s opera of twisted love lives, magic, deceit and revelations.

Orlando sets out on his way to military glory, but is forced by his passion to pursue his love for Angelica instead. But Angelica has fallen for Medoro, and he for her – which is upsetting for the shepherdess Dorinda, who also had her heart set on Medoro.

Bejun Mehta recreates the role of Orlando, for which he received a Laurence Olivier Award nomination in 2004.
