On Ageing is a show for adults performed by children.

From the moment we are born, we are growing, we are ageing. Nothing ever stays the same. As an empty room is filled with hundreds of memories, a group of extraordinary performers create a journey through life over the course of a show.

With the energy, joy and brutal honesty that comes only from children, On Ageing turns a sequence of images, ideas and emotions into a visual poem that stretches back to the past and out into the future.

On Ageing is the culmination of 18 months work by Young Vic Associate Company Fevered Sleep in which it has worked closely with children, adults, grandparents, artists, elders and gerontologists.

Fevered Sleep has an international reputation for devising groundbreaking work that is both playful and profound. It returns later in the Young Vic’s season with hit children’s show And The Rain Falls Down.
